X-Zavier born and raised in Grand Cayman, experienced a life-changing event when a devastating hurricane struck his island home in 2004. At the age of eleven, he relocated to Edmonton, Alberta, where he began to navigate a new world while holding onto his rich Caribbean heritage. Raised on a vibrant blend of hip-hop and reggae, X-Zavier's early musical influences included iconic artists such as Bob Marley, 2Pac, Ludacris, and 50 Cent. These genres and artists played a pivotal role in shaping his musical identity.
In his teenage years, X-Zavier’s passion for music took flight. At sixteen, he and a group of friends recorded their first song, “Life Is What You Make It.” This track marked the beginning of his journey into music production. Together, they recorded more songs and even produced a mixtape, although no official projects were released at that time. Their musical beginnings included performing at local shows, which helped X-Zavier refine his craft and build a foundational fanbase.
As X-Zavier matured, so did his artistry. He continued to hone his skills, writing lyrics and developing his unique sound.
